Having studied law at Birmingham University, Simon was admitted as a solicitor in 1973 and has been a partner at Horsey Lightly since 1992.
His practice is mainly property and private client based, dealing not only with residential conveyancing but also with Landlord and Tenant matters for both leasehold extensions and enfranchisement. Private client side he advises on Inheritance tax, prepares wills and deals with probate and the administration of estates of those with assets in the UK and abroad.
With an ability to both write and speak in French he has years of experience in helping UK clients with property purchases in France, and French clients looking to buy in the UK. When he’s not in the office he can be found at his house in Burgundy, France, enjoying the fine wine and cuisine that France has to offer.
